Jailbreak the iPhone 3GS with Purplera1n

If you have gotten your hand on the new iPhone 3GS and want to jailbreak it, then there is the new Purplera1n from Geohot to help make that happen quickly and easily without too much technical knowledge.

This new Jailbreak version is made for the new iPhone 3G S that has the OS 3.0 on it. Based on the instructions provided, it seems pretty easy to Jailbreak the new iPhone 3G S. It goes like this:

Note: You must have a Windows computer (not the new Windows 7), have the latest iTunes installed and also have the newest OS 3.0 already on your iPhone 3GS. Also, this is a Beta version, so make sure you have all important things backed up…just in case.

1. Go download Purplera1n from its official site.

2. Connect your iPhone as you would normally for any other use.

3. Select “make it ra1n” to begin.

4. From there, it should be pretty self-explanatory. By the way, if Cydia doesn’t show up after running Freeze, reboot.
