If you have built a little Star Wars universe at home with collectibles, the Cantina Band Bust-Ups box set will make it complete, as the Mos Eisley Cantina band is here, in a 3 ¾ scaled down form to fit your display case. Apparently, the creators of these figures borrowed design data from the original Lucas film archives to make sure the detailing is as close to the real thing as possible. From what we see, they seem to have succeeded quite brilliantly.
Let’s do a little memory jog. The Cantina is the imaginary bar for all the action-loving characters in the iconic franchise. Right from freight pilots to aliens, everybody drops in for a draught. The band that plays here was eventually named the Mos Eisley Cantina band, and infused life into the rather morose atmosphere of the bar. Star Wars collectibles will scale higher peaks with the introduction of this new dimension to collectibles, since drawing board replication of third rung characters was unheard of until recently. Priced at $15.99, the Cantina Band will certainly lend music to your showcase.
